Summary

Processes and maintains General Agency’s, IMO and agent records, including contracts and state appointments in a timely and accurate manner while using outstanding customer service skills. Assists with the Agent’s Prosperity lifecycle with respect to onboarding, maintenance and off boarding for all distribution channels. Prosperity Company and state guidelines must be strictly followed. Provide support to our field agents on product, policies and commission inquiries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Review incoming requests to ensure that all required documentation has been submitted and work with field agents and agencies for follow up on any outstanding requirements.

Establish agent records in company’s administrative systems and secure appropriate state appointments based on states requirements while utilizing state databases.

Maintain and update agent training records in company’s administrative systems. Ensuring compliance with product and state regulations.

Order background reports utilizing vendor’s database for all agents contracting through the Independent distribution channel. Prepare and flag for further review.

Distribute Executed agreements and communicate approval with General Agencies and IMO’s when all requirements are met and background report has been reviewed.

Process agent record changes, such as address changes and servicing agent changes, as requests are received.

Responsible for preparing correspondence and reports in software packages, such as Word or Excel, as appropriate for various transactions and projects associated with the contracting process and record maintenance.

Assist with the reconciliation of appointment fees and commissions for third party administered business.

Coordinate with New Business and other departments to confirm agent status for solicitation of business and processing of new applications and other transactions.

Handle agent calls and email inquiries regarding contracting, licensing, appointments, commissions/advance payments.

Assist with the Prosperity’s debit balance policies and procedures and debt collections.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Minimum of two years customer service or administrative related experience in a fast paced service industry. Experience in job functions requiring proficiency and accuracy in maintaining and administering computer system databases.

Work requires the use of basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplications, and division) to perform job duties.
